Julie Rousseau Biography

Julie Rousseau , BSc (Hons) Mathematics
Development Director

Julie has more than 20 years experience in Information Technology and Knowledge Management. She specialises in technical communication and in helping people with diverse backgrounds to understand one another's needs and concerns. She has held senior roles in product management, project management and business development.

She has a particular interest in the process of scientific discovery and the way in which controversial ideas are disseminated and discussed within the community. This has led to active work building partnerships between organisations in the field. With a background in operatonal research, simulation and modelling, she also consults on investigations involving computing or analytics.

Julie is keen to provide better tools for managing information and facilitating communication between people with related interests. She managed the development of the online Library of Exploratory Science (Lexscien) and other IT tools used in C-FAR. She is Honorary Website Manager for the Society for Psychical Research (SPR) and has served on their Council for more than 8 years. She serves on the SPR's Research Activities, Survival Research and eCommunications Committees. She is also a trustee of the International Institute for Life Information Science (ISLIS).
